My name is Glenn Beck. I was stationed at George Air Force Base from October 1987 through October 1990 assigned to the 35th AGS, 20th AMU. I lived in the dorms/barracks building 593 from ‘87 to ‘89 and then building 267 from ‘89 to ‘90. My AFSC was 32833-Electronic Counter Measures Specialist. I worked on the flight line and was exposed to jet fuel, hydraulic fluid, TCE, diesel, CW microwave radiation from radar/ radar jamming equipment and test sets, and wash rack soap along with other possible contaminants. I did not experience any adverse health effects during my tour at George A.F.B. However, soon after my discharge in 1990, I developed asthma, osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease, bursitis. I have had bouts of perianal abscesses, multiple kidney stones, ulcerative colitis and esophageal stricture. Then in 2005 was diagnosed with rare ocular melanoma which resulted in the removal of my left eye. Then in 2012 lung cancer and in 2014 intestinal cancer.
