My mom as a dependent lived in the base housing, on Michigan Ave, from 1972 to 1979.
My grandfather was exposed to gas, grease, mechanic chemicals, fire chemicals, any chemicals that had to do with the airplanes. He also cross-trained into computers and worked in the flight control room My Grandfather had High Blood pressure, Diabetes, Congestive Heart failure, Kidney Disease, Cysts, Warts, Depression, Memory loss, Anxiety, Sleeping disorders, Chronic Coughing, Loss of smell, loss of vision,

- Describe the drinking water quality. My mom described the water as tasting funny sometimes like pennies sometimes it looked brownish
- Describe any environmental concerns that you witnessed. My mom stated sometimes it smelled funny and there would be smoke like a forest fire was around
