My name is Melissa Hensley my mother was stationed at George AFB in 1980-1983 so was my father. We lived in Victorville. My mom was a jet engine mechanic she was around trichloroethylene (TCE) so was my father. My mother was diagnosed in 1981 with endometriosis and by God’s amazing grace got pregnant with me. She worked the line until she was 7 months pregnant with me when her water broke. I was born prematurely at 6 weeks premature. We moved back to Rhode Island when I was a year old. I was a very sick child chronic asthma ear infections bone problems. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) when I was thirteen I was told I could never have children. I gave birth to two miracles. I have had 7 miscarriages and 3 cancer scares. My eldest daughter is 9 has autism and celiac sprue disease. My youngest whom is 7 has multiple chromosomal defects, autism, schizophrenia. His frontal lobe lights up abnormally during MRI and Dr’s can’t explain why. Plus GI disorder that he is going to have a procedure done on within the next few months. He is 100 lbs at 7.
